Burnewood Seniors

As an ongoing commitment to serve all the residents of the Burnewood Community, a Seniors Liasion position was created on the Board of Directors of the Community League in 2007. The position is intended to advise and assist seniors in our community on where they can find the services to meet their needs.

For the Mill Woods and Meadows area, there is a Seniors Centre called the Mill Woods Seniors Activity Centre (MWSAC) located on the 2nd Floor of the Mill Woods Recreation Centre, 7207 - 28th Avenue. The Centre offers a number of educational, recreational and social programs and activities for seniors to socialize and lead an active and healthy lifestyle.
The Centre is open from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The Centre can be contacted at 780 - 496 - 2997.
